Bin wieder mit Austrian/Lufthansa nach Bulgarien geflogen und habe die Austrian Melangerie, das Catering-Angebot in der Economy-Klasse getestet.
Zur Erinnerung, seit Corona bekommt man in der Economy-Klasse bei Austrian au脽er Wasser keine Getr盲nke mehr gratis, daf眉r gibt es Snacks und Kaffee gegen Aufpreis (Austrian Melangerie).
F眉r 12,50 bekommt man eine Schnitzelbox, Apfelstrudel mit Milchrahmsauce schl盲gt mit 7 Euro zu Buche und ein kleiner (Instant-)Kaffee kommt auf 3,50.
Gezahlt werden kann in der Luft 眉brigens nur noch mit Karte, nicht mehr mit Bargeld, was allerdings praktisch ist, da das Kassieren sonst ewig dauern w眉rde und es ist auch hygienischer.
Portionen sind wie im Flugzeug 眉blich relativ klein, aber die Qualit盲t ist top und der Apfelstrudel war wirklich lecker. Empfehlung.

I flew with Austrian/Lufthansa to Bulgaria again and tested the Austrian Melangerie, the catering service in the economy class.
As a reminder, since Corona you no longer get free drinks in economy class with Austrian flights except water, but there are snacks and coffee for an extra charge (Austrian Melangerie).
For EUR 12.50 you get a schnitzel box, apple strudel with milk cream sauce is offered for 7 Euro and for small (instant) coffee you are charged 3.50.
By the way, you can only pay in the air with plastic, no longer with cash, which is ok, because otherwise the checkout would take forever and it is also more hygienic.
Portions are relatively small as usual in the airplane, but the quality is top and the apple strudel was really delicious. Can recommend it.
