Today I come to tell you about my friend Nairim's 15th birthday, which was a very special day and a bit different from the outings I usually do with my friends, and you'll see why.

El día de hoy les vengo a contar acerca de los 15 años de mi amiga Nairim, el cual fue un día muy especial y un tanto diferente a las salidas que acostumbro a hacer con mis amigos, y ya verán por qué.
Everything starts on Saturday 03, it was 08:00 pm and it was time to get ready to attend, I took a bath, got dressed and ate a hot dog so as not to go with an empty stomach because I know myself and I get hungry very quickly unfortunately.
At 10:00 pm my friend Camila arrives to pick me up to go together, I felt super adult because it is the first time I go out at that time hahaha, I would only go with her, this is the first time I go out alone with a single friend, so it would be a little different experience, anyway I would have a great time since I get along super well with her, we arrived and there were not so many people, so we sat at a table with a classmate and other friends while we waited for the quinceañera.
Todo comienza el sábado 03, eran las 08:00 pm y ya tocaba alistarme para asistir, me bañé , me vestí y me comí un perro caliente para no ir con el estómago vacío porque me conozco y me da hambre muy rápido lastimosamente.
A las 10:00 pm llega mi amiga Camila a recogerme para irnos juntos, yo me sentí súper adulto porque es la primera vez que salgo a esa hora jajaja, cabe destacar que solo iría con ella, esta es la primera vez que salgo solo con una sola amiga, así que sería una experiencia un poco distinta, de todas formas la pasaría genial ya que me llevo súper bien con ella, llegamos y aún no había tanta gente, así que nos sentamos en una mesa junto a una compañera de clases y otros amigos mientras esperábamos a la quinceañera.
My friend Nairim, the birthday girl, came out at 10:30 to dance the waltz with her family, which is what is customary in this Latin birthday tradition, we were all there watching her dance and we were impressed by how pretty she looked, she is very pretty, and that day she was prettier than ever.
Mi amiga Nairim, osea la cumpleañera, salió a las 10 y media para bailar el vals junto a su familia que es lo que se acostumbra en esta tradición de cumpleaños latina, ahí estábamos todos viendo cómo bailaba y nos quedamos impresionados de lo bonita que se veía, ella de por sí es muy linda, y ese día lo estaba más que nunca.
After I finished watching the waltz I got really thirsty, so I went on the risky mission of asking for water even though I was embarrassed hahaha, I went with a friend and just the birthday girl was in the kitchen and gave us some sweets that were delicious and we took pictures to keep memories of the moment, I also took the opportunity to give her my gift which she liked a lot, I was super relieved because I did not know if she would like it.
Luego de terminar de ver cómo bailaba el vals me dió mucha sed, así que me encaminé en la arriesgada misión de pedir agua aunque me diera pena jajaja, fui con una amiga y justo la cumpleañera estaba en la cocina y nos dió unos dulces que estaban riquísimos y nos tomamos fotos para guardar recuerdos de el momento, también aproveché para darle mi regalo el cual le gustó mucho, estaba súper aliviado porque no sabía si le gustaría.
We returned to our seats and the birthday girl was super attentive and offered us refreshments and candy to pass the time, while we were eating and talking with a friend I said that they should play Pink Venom by Blackpink, which is a song of my favorite band, at that moment a girl who was sitting in front of me turned around and we became friends because she also likes Blackpink, it was super funny because it happened out of nowhere, there we realized that we have a lot of tastes in common, we exchanged numbers and we became friends, I liked her a lot, she is a very nice girl, it was very unexpected to have met her, it was definitely amazing.
Regresamos a nuestros asientos y la cumpleañera súper atenta nos ofrece refresco, y dulces para pasar el rato, ahí comiendo y hablando con una amiga se me sale decir que deberían poner Pink Venom de Blackpink, la cual es una canción de mi grupo favorito, en eso se voltea una chica que estaba sentada delante de mi y nos hacemos amigos ya que a ella también le gusta Blackpink, fue súper gracioso porque sucedió de la nada, ahí nos dimos cuenta de que tenemos muchos gustos en común, intercambiamos números y nos hicimos amigos, ella me cayó genial, es una chica muy agradable, fue muy inesperado haberla conocido, sin duda fue asombroso.
After talking for about half an hour with the girl, we went to dance a little, next to us were the birthday girl's friends, they were dancing like crazy, it was very funny because they were super out of control, the music was very good, when we came back they had stolen our soda, it can't be, I wonder who the bad guy was, it was the only thing I was drinking because I still don't drink alcohol.
Después de hablar como media hora con la chica, fuimos a bailar un poco, al lado de nosotros estaban los amigos de la cumpleañera, bailaban como locos, era muy gracioso porque estaban súper descontrolados, la música estaba muy buena, al regresar nos habían robado nuestro refresco, no puede ser, me pregunto quién habrá sido el malvado, de por sí es lo único que estaba tomando porque aún no tomo alcohol.
At around 2am, we were sitting around chatting and getting to know more of the quinceañera's friends, who I liked a lot. My friend Camila, the one I went to the party with, was having a laughing fit, she always laughs at everything I say hahaha
Ya rondando las 2 de la mañana, estábamos sentados charlando y conociendo más amigos de la quinceañera, los cuales me cayeron super bien, mi amiga Camila la cual es con la que fui a la fiesta le dió un ataque de risa, ella siempre se rie de todo lo que diga jajaja
The atmosphere was very nice, the music too, and I was having a great time with my friends, besides it was really fun to share with my friend Nairim on that special day for her, overall I had a great time because sometimes it's good to get out of our comfort zone.
El ambiente estaba muy agradable, la música también, y la estaba pasando genial con mis amigos, a parte realmente fue muy divertido compartir con mi amiga Nairim en ese día tan especial para ella, en general la pasé muy bien ya que a veces es bueno salir de nuestra zona de confort.
It was already a little late for me so I had to leave, I returned home super happy to have been part of such a special day for my friend and to have met such warm and kind people.
Ya era un poco tarde para mí así que tuve que irme, regresé a casa súper feliz de haber formado parte de ese día tan especial para mí amiga y haber conocido gente tan cálida y amable.
These experiences make us appreciate being surrounded by people we cherish, I am very grateful to have the opportunity to share beautiful moments and create memories with my friends, so I hope to continue sharing more fun anecdotes with you hivers!
