Moses had become a prosperous man, forgetting his origins, until God revealed himself to him at the burning bush.
He was then called to deliver his people from slavery in Egypt.
With fear in his heart, but faith in the Divine, he faced Pharaoh with plagues until he saw his people cross the Red Sea.
After long years in the wilderness, his people were shaped by wise laws and signs from the Most High.
When they finally reached the Promised Land, Moses was unable to enter, but from the mountain he saw with joy the fulfilment of the promise to Abraham.
His legacy would live forever in the memory of Israel.
