SIMPLE SLIPPERS MAKING GUIDE AND TIPS

HELLO HIVE

I hope this meet you all well, today I'll love to share a simple procedure on how to make a Slippers like the one we have in the image below, and am certain you'll be able to achieve something as cute as this, if you follow the procedure I'm sharing below.

MATERIALS USED

• Red leather material
• Marco insole material
• Gum
• Nora sole material
• Super Glue
• Linning

THE MAKING PROCESS

• Measurements: I wasn't making this slippers for anyone in particular, so since it's a female Footwear, I just pick a size that's common to women, that's 38, but you can just places the leg of the person you're making yours for on a piece of paper and then draw out the shape of his/her leg.

• For the cutting of the slippers upper your can first cut out the pattern of design you wish to use on a paper, and then place it on your main material ones you got the actual size, you can so the same for the cutting of your insole, sole and linning, but make sure to add an extra one inches around their edges compare to the size of the leg pattern you cut during the measurements.

cutting and building the insole, sole and linning, and then I applied gum on the linning and the insole before attaching then together

here is all the back of the slippers, all ready to be attached together

• So i grinded the back of the insole, upper and the back of the sole, and then apply gum on each part, and after drying for some minutes, I joined it together,and finally put some super glue on some of the open edges of the slippers.

• Here we go, this is how attractive and gorgeous our Slippers is looking.

• And here I also made a men version of the Slippers as seen below.
