Habits are good and play a key role in how our lives turn out. Our habits are like the driver of our lives, and what they determine is how day and life will turn out to be, and that's why it's always advisable to adopt good habits. When we talk about a good habit, I'm still working full time to adopt, build or perfect it for the betterment of my life; it's better time management. And the reason is because through various life experiences and lessons learnt, I've realised that life is one resource we mustn't joke with, because once it's gone, it can't be recovered again.

Almost every other aspect of life is replaceable; for instance, we can make more money, we can create new opportunities, and we can even replace some material things, but when it comes to time, it can't be recovered. Yesterday is forever gone, never to be relieved, and so are the decisions we could have made right then, and that's why I've reinvented myself and made it a point of duty to be intentional about how I spend my time going forward.

Just like most people, I've often found myself spending time on things that aren't necessarily important, and when the day is almost gone, I start running around trying to get what I could have done earlier done now within a short period. This in some cases makes me miss out on those opportunities or Scrabble to do those things shabbily, and that's why I'm learning to build better time management so I will start doing things promptly and at the right time. Doing this doesn't mean I'll fill every single minute with work; what it means is how I can manage my time well to the point where I'll know what deserves my attention and also be able to create a scale of preference to guide what needs priority, when I need a break, and the like, to name but a few.

And if I'm to talk about a small change I can make and could potentially have the capability to turn my life around for good, then it's the ability to plan my day, week, months and years ahead before it even begins. This could involve me creating a schedule and setting priorities for what should be done and when. Doing this can help me focus on essential things and also help me accomplish them. This is the best way to live it day by day because it helps differentiate when to work and when to rest, unlike how I usually tried to do everything at once in the past. Now I'm trying to avoid unnecessary distractions, so I'll be able to spend my time on important tasks.

To be honest, that isn't much change at the most, but then I understand that everything is a process, and with time I'll get a grasp of what I should do, when and the like. Overall I know that these small changes are what can go on to create a better future for me.
