One inevitable fact of human is the ability to age. We can't control it, we have no power over it. Our bodies change, and time passes. We get wrinkles and loose strength, we won't be as fast or as active as before. This is just a fact and every human being both male and female must undergo this stage. So yes, aging is an obligation for every human.

But when we think about maturity, this is how we think, how we act or behave towards people. A person can be old and still behave like a child, while someone can be young and act like an adult. I know of a 15 years old boy who thinks, behave and acts like an adult, meaning he is matured and I have also seen an adult, full grown adult acting like a child.

As a woman, aging comes with serious health issue such as menopause and breast cancer. Every woman must pass through menopause and it happens between 45 to 55 years of age. This is when periods stop, body changes again and you'll start to feel weak, tired and have mood swings.

This point in every woman is not an easy one but understanding it and taking care of ourselves during that time is very important.

As women both young and old, we need to check our breasts regularly and go for medical check ops. Early detection of breast cancer can save a lot of lives. We should be open to talking to people about our body changes and what we are passing through. We women are fond of taking care of others and neglecting ourselves, it's not as if it's bad, it's just our nature but sometimes we should also know that our health matters a lot.

Let’s love our bodies, pay attention to it, and take our health seriously. We owe it to ourselves. Aging should be embraced with wisdom not fear.
