Ciudad Bolívar is a beautiful town located in the south of Venezuela, it is actually the place that welcomes you, if you want to know tourist attractions such as the highest waterfall in the world (Angel Falls) or the second widest waterfall in the world. world (Salto Pará), after Niagara Falls.
I live in this small city, although I was born in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela. I have always believed that it was a simple calculation error, I chose a family made up of parents, grandparents, great-grandparents and great-great-grandparents born in Ciudad Bolívar, so it makes little sense to feel that I belonged elsewhere, even though that Judas Sunday, my mother gave birth to a beautiful girl at the Diagnostic Institute of San Bernardino, in Caracas...
After a few years, as was natural, I returned to my land, here I grew up knowing our history, the secrets of the majestic Old Town that adorns us and enjoying the stories and legends that intertwine around the Orinoco River and form a valuable oral tradition. , that through my writings, I try to safeguard.
I graduated as a Journalist at the Andrés Bello Catholic University in Caracas, I also did a postgraduate degree in Communication and Organization, and recently I enjoyed a magical diploma related to New Multimedia Narratives and the experience of writing chronicle or non-fiction literature. Perhaps because of that element, much of what I am going to share here will be real stories that seem like tales, the most beautiful thing about this job is to look with astonished eyes at what we usually see on a daily basis.
My name is María Alejandra Pasarella Alvarado, I am 42 years old. I inherited the passion for writing from my father, Luis Pasarella, who was an educator and lawyer, but also a poet and an inveterate creator.
Currently, I am residing in Ciudad Bolívar, as I mentioned at the beginning of this text and I am making my way in the world of tourism, I believe that we can connect our city with the rest of the country, as an attractive tourist option.
I believe that the tourism industry is the one that can offer us more and better results to develop the economic sustainability of our region, under an environmentally friendly concept, so necessary in these times when indiscriminate mining is wreaking havoc in this area. from the country.
I like to focus on what I can do to improve, so I write from an optimistic point of view. I think we build more by doing than by talking.
I hope to share, learn, enjoy and be a little happier, interacting on this platform.
