From a basic sketch to a landscape illustration in full detail.

This piece of artwork was made totally by hand with the help of black ink pens along with various techniques of drawing.

The process began with the initial sketch of the mountain shapes and the geometric triangular frame. The next step involved working on the mountain itself and making it realistic through the addition of contour lines, textures, and shadows.

The third step involved the drawing of the stippled circular sun made up of many dots for obtaining the gradual transition from one color to another. In the case of the forest, individual pine trees were drawn by making repeated thin lines and branching them out.

The end result shows realistic elements of the landscape combined with geometric design.

Techniques applied:

Stippling and dot work
Fine-line drawing
Building textures
Shading of lines
Geometric composition
Black and white illustration
A masterpiece of hand-made art and patience.
