When someone asks you 'What is Love?'
An obvious response is 'Love is a feeling'

Here is an example for this:
A man walks upto Stephen Covey and tells him that he does not love his wife anymore. We have kids and house, everything is perfect but I just don't love her anymore, the feeling is not there like it used to be.

Stephen Covey replied 'Then love her'

The man replied back 'But how can I love her when I don't love her anymore.'
Stephen Covey replied 'Love her then, why don't you.'

The man replied 'I don't feel the love anymore, it is not there anymore like it used to be.'

Stephen Covey replied 'What is love? A feeling? No 'love is a verb' and the fruit of this verb is the 'Love the feeling'. Go to her, take her out, love her, help her, sacrifice for her, understand her, make her love - Perform the LOVE THE VERB and then LOVE THE FEELING would come as a fruit.'

I ask you, Does it make sense? Yes it does.

So what are you supposed to do if you feel you do not love your spouse anymore? the feeling is not there anymore?

Perform LOVE THE VERB- Go talk to them, understand them, make sacrifices, do what they like, put some efforts and then the LOVE THE FEELING would come as a fruit

Might take time but it would definitely work.

Now you may ask who is Stephen Covey?
He is writer of amazing book - 7 habits of highly effective people. The first habit is Proactiveness - I am reading and changing my mindset with the book. As part of the journey, I am supposed to share what I read and understood with someone within 48 hours to make things effective as a rock solid. So I did it.
