My Wednesday walk today is in the fog and is in the beautiful forest of Eleno Tvardishki Balkan.
The day was very rainy, but there came a moment when the rain stopped.
With @deska89 we decided to take advantage of the moment when it wasn't raining and walk to the so-called Paradise Confessional, built by former marathoner Vlado Panov, together with the hut owner of the Chumerna hut.
And so from the hut we set off on a hike in the direction of the village of Miikovtsi.
We had a great dog named Maya with us for company.
Maya really enjoyed the walk. He loved to bury himself in the leaves and roll in the patterned carpet formed by them.
He often stopped and pricked up his ears because he heard different sounds. At times we lost her, but she soon came back and passed us at great speed.
The forest looked mystically bathed in rain and shrouded in mist.
We found beautiful trees with mosses and interesting bark.
On the way to the "Paradise Confessional" we saw various creations of Vlado Pano:
Hearts and smiles on trees:
A stone clothed as a man:
A stone in the shape of a dog's head and two hearts drawn, which are a symbol of the love between man and dog.
We reached the final destination. Тhe "Paradise Confessional" was a wooden hut with a hearth and various objects that you can see in the pictures.
A confessional, a place of shelter or something else - apparently it serves different things.
I really enjoyed the walk in the forest and I'm glad we got a chance to walk after the rain.
Thank you for stopping by!
