One of my favorite spots in the Karandila area is Golyama Chatalka Peak, located in the western part of the "Sinite Kamani" Nature Park . I was last here in March, when friends and I went looking for the uniquely beautiful Pulsatilla montana plants. Now, in mid-October, I visited the peak again with our cycling group.
After regrouping, having arrived by car from Burgas, we set off for the peak.
We rode our bicycles first on asphalt and then on a dirt track.
The view of the rock formations is stunning, and the closer you get, the more magnificent the scenery becomes.
Golyama Chatalka Peak stands at an elevation of approximately 1,065 meters. It is distinguished by its bifurcated (split) shape. From the summit, there are splendid panoramic views of the Thracian Plain and the city of Sliven, nestled at the foot of Balkan Mountain.
The descent was fun, but a friend broke his derailleur. The guys fixed it right away, and he was able to keep riding.
After that, some of us continued cycling on the asphalt, while others took the dirt trails. We agreed to meet at the Haramiyata area, where there is a stone fountain.
We found these beautiful mushrooms there.
We also managed to visit a few more places, which I’ll tell you about soon.
Thank you for stopping by!
