Today I decided for the first time to write in this community (which definitely identifies me a lot) with the initiative of #mylimitfortattoos because despite having much of my body tattooed, since I have always liked tattoos, I do have a limit, I think that everything in excess is bad so my limits will always be: Face, neck, hands, chest, intimate parts, feet and already, because the rest I have tattooed and if I had to go back in time, I would tattoo again because the truth has never been an impediment for me the issue of getting a job, in fact, being tattooed has opened doors for me to work in the field of graphic design which was the career I studied, so well, when they ask me absurd things like Do not you regret having your arm tattooed for job interviews? No gentlemen, get that old chip out of your head, there are less and less people left on the side of the square people with taboo who judge a person by his style. In fact, my grandmother was one of them and as time went by she understood many things, so much so that we got a tattoo together:
Buenas noches a todos, espero que hayan tenido una excelente semana. hoy decid铆 por primera vez escribir en esta comunidad (que definitivamente me identifica un mont贸n) con la iniciativa de #mylimitfortattoos porque a pesar de tener gran parte de mi cuerpo tatuado, ya que desde siempre me han gustado los tatuajes, s铆 tengo un limite, pienso que todo en exceso es malo por eso mis limites siempre van a ser: Rostro, cuello, manos, pecho, partes intimas, pies y ya, porque el resto lo tengo tatuado y si tuviese que regresar el tiempo, me volver铆a a tatuar porque la verdad nunca ha sido un impedimento para m铆 el tema de conseguir trabajo, de hecho, estar tatuada me ha abierto puertas para trabajar en la rama de Dise帽o gr谩fico que fue la carrera que estudi茅, entonces bueno, cuando me preguntan cosas absurdas c贸mo 驴No te arrepientes de tener el brazo tatuado por las entrevistas de trabajo? No se帽ores, qu铆tense ese chip antiguo de la cabeza, cada vez quedan menos personas del lado de la gente cuadrada con tab煤 que juzga a una persona por su estilo. De hecho, mi abuela era una de ellas y al pasar del tiempo entendi贸 muchas cosas, tanto as铆 que nos hicimos un tatuaje juntas:
That heart was her first tattoo and then came the fever and she got my name and my brother's, then she got "Eterno amor" her favorite song by Marco Antonio Solis and months ago she got a butterfly haha, she is my grandma Rock and I love her very much!
So at this point it's absurd to think that because you have tattoos you won't get a job, I've seen surgeons with tattooed arms and so on. For me, to get a tattoo is to have things that you like, that have marked you emotionally, that you love, etc., tattooed on your body for the rest of your life. And when I decided to get my arm tattooed, it was thinking about the people I love the most in life: my mom and my grandmother. And it has been tattooed for more than 10 years and even its colors have not faded because the tattoo ink has evolved and those tattoos that used to turn green with time, became history.
Ese coraz贸n fue su primer tatuaje y despu茅s vino la fiebre y se hizo mi nombre y el de mi hermano, luego se hizo "Eterno amor" su canci贸n favorita de Marco Antonio Sol铆s y hace meses se hizo una mariposa jaja, es mi abuela Rock y la amo much铆simo!
Entonces ya a estas alturas es absurdo pensar que por tener tatuajes no conseguir谩s trabajo, he visto a m茅dicos cirujanos con los brazos tatuados y dem谩s. Para m铆 tatuarse es llevar plasmado en tu cuerpo para toda la vida, cosas que te gustas, te marcaron sentimentalmente, amas, etc. Y cuando decid铆 tatuarme el brazo fue pensando en las personas que m谩s amo en la vida: mi mam谩 y mi abuela. Y ya lleva conmigo m谩s de 10 a帽os tatuado y aun sus colores no se han desvanecido porque la tinta del tatuaje ha evolucionado y esos tatuajes que antes con el tiempo se pon铆an verdes, pas贸 a la historia.
Anyway I respect people who don't like to get tattoos on their arms or simply don't like tattoos on them, but for that reason there should not be a criticism on people who do like them and wear them. In all the time that I have had my tattoos, I have worked as a Designer, Photographer and Bartender, so if at some point there is a formal event, wearing a long sleeve shirt is enough.
De todas formas respeto a la gente que no le gusta tatuarse los brazos o que simplemente no les gustan los tatuajes en ellos, pero no por esa raz贸n deber铆a haber una critica en las personas que s铆 nos gustan y los llevamos. En todo el tiempo que he tenido mis tatuajes, he trabajado como Dise帽adora, Fot贸grafa y de Bartender, por lo que si en alg煤n momento llegase haber alg煤n evento formal, con colocarme una camisa manga larga basta.
I really like the art, the people who are dedicated to tattooing and have that gift to make incredible pieces. What I would never want to do would be implants or body modifications and as I said before, I would not tattoo my face, neck, hands, chest, feet or intimate areas, that would definitely be my limit of tattoos because even though tattoos have not been an impediment for me at work, I prefer to have the ability to hide them and show them when I want.
Me gusta much铆simo el arte, las personas que se dedican al tatuaje y tienen ese don para hacer piezas incre铆bles. Lo que no me gustar铆a hacerme nunca ser铆a implantes o modificaciones corporales y como dije anteriormente, no me tatuar铆a cara, cuello, manos, pecho, pies ni zonas intimas, ese ser铆a definitivamente mi limite de tatuajes ya que a pesar de que los tatuajes no han sido impedimento para m铆 a nivel laboral, prefiero tener la capacidad de esconderlos y mostrarlos cuando yo quiera.
