I wasn’t feeling all too inspired yesterday afternoon. Overcast and a little rainy out, which I normally love but I was feeling rundown. Maybe it’s because I didn’t sleep well. I began to doodle silly cute creatures and then I drew a less than perfect looking whale holding up a middle finger. I’m sure I’ll share those original sketches later. It was a hilarious idea so I rolled with it and pulled up several images of whales for reference. I stumbled across the Right Whale and everything started to fall into place. The shape of its mouth makes for a perfect frown. The curve of it also kind of reminds me of a hard shell taco! 🤣🌮🐋
