While a lot of people, including my family, had different plans for the holidays this year a lot of people had to cancel their holidays. We did too. We would have been to Turkey this year but with all the Covid19 problems in the world we didn't thought it would be smart to go. First let me make the statement that their are lot of more problems for a lot of people then canceling a holdiay.
While I have said that we have been on a very short holiday the past 5 days. We have been to Eersel, it's a small village in the south of the Netherlands. We visited friends of ours at a camping. Although it was only for five days it was great, we had a really great (quality) time overthere with my family and our friends.
We went by tent and were standing next to a small lake with a sand beach. In the morning the view was stunning. We were lucky with the weather too. It was almost sunny the whole days with a bit of rain every now and then.
The great thing of sleeping in a tent is that whenever the temperature drops at night the temperature in the tent is the same as the outside and it's a great sleep :).
My son decides he wanted to make some great burgers for everyone for dinner. He made them all by his self. I can asure you, it's better than MacDonald :)
So, did you spend your holiday different than other years, or didn't you had any holiday at all?
We empty our heads a bit and had a great time !!
