My children are on vacation from school for 2 weeks. Now with Corona there is not much they can do. My oldest can work a lot at the Sushi restaurant, but my youngest is not allowed to work yet. He came to us if he could go to the campsite in our village with a few friends, cozy with the tent, that they still have a little holiday feeling. At first we were quite skeptical, but after we called the campsite and the owner said it was fine, we thought it was fine too. So there they went, the six of us on bicycles. My wife chased it with the stuff in the car.
Yesterday afternoon we went to see how they were doing, the weather was great and they were playing football. They had gone shopping, furnished the tent and were enjoying themselves. I must also honestly say that I am also done with everything that is not allowed by Covid. I just feel like a terrace, a beer and a snack. Especially now that the sunny weather is coming again.
There was also a father of one of the other boys, I thought he looked familiar to me. When I asked him what he was doing he said I probably knew him from the music, and that's right. I played at a local festival a few times which he organized. It is a small world, that music world (local). We reminisced about bands we used to play in, it turns out that we had been in bands with many of the same musicians but never together. Nice to reminisce again and to realize that music has determined an important part of my life :).
This morning I chatted my son if he had slept well, it was cold but he loves it. Tonight they are going to make pasta ..... Little boys grow up, and I love every moment.
