Hablar de cabellos y de peinados no es costumbre en mí, sin embargo, recientemente hice un cambio en mi look que había pospuesto hace ya bastante tiempo, temía que no fuese a quedarme bien y que fuese a arrepentirme, por eso lo pensé bastante durante algunos años antes de dar el paso, hasta que en estos días simplemente amanecí con ganas de hacerlo sí o sí, pensé que si no me gustaba solo debía esperar un tiempo a que mi cabello creciera de nuevo, pero a decir verdad me encantó y quedé totalmente satisfecha con el resultado. No tomé fotos del proceso pues no estaba en mis planes hacer una publicación al respecto, pero hoy estuve dando un paseo por las calles de Hive y me enteré que existe esta comunidad, lo cual me causó una grata sorpresa y entonces decidí mostrarme.
Talking about hair and hairstyles is not usual for me, however, I recently made a change in my look that I had postponed for quite some time, I was afraid that it was not going to look good and that I would regret it, so I thought about it for a few years before taking the step, until these days I just woke up wanting to do it, I thought that if I did not like it I would simply wait for my hair to grow back, but to tell the truth I loved it and I was totally satisfied with the result. I didn't take pictures of the process because it wasn't in my plans to make a publication about it, but today I was walking around the streets of Hive and I found out that this community exists, which caused me a pleasant surprise and then I decided to show myself.
Creo que un cambio radical en nuestro peinado dice bastante de lo que puede estar ocurriendo en nuestro interior, cortar de nuestra vida lo que ya no queremos con nosotros, dejarlo atrás y desecharlo para enfocarnos en el aquí y el ahora, contemplándonos como seres cambiantes. No aferrarnos a circunstancias porque con tan solo una acción todo puede cambiar en un abrir y cerrar de ojos.
I believe that a radical change in our hairstyle says a lot about what may be happening inside us, cutting from our life what we no longer want with us, leaving it behind and discarding it to focus on the here and now, contemplating ourselves as changing beings. Do not cling to circumstances because with just one action everything can change in the blink of an eye.
En lo personal, con este nuevo peinado me gusta más contemplarme al espejo, me gusto más a mí misma, además me siento mucho más cómoda pues no necesito dedicarle tanto tiempo para que luzca genial, claro ese es mi punto de vista.
Personally, with this new hairstyle I like to look at myself in the mirror, I like myself more, and I feel much more comfortable because I don't need to spend so much time to make it look great, of course that's my point of view.
El día que me decidí a hacerlo, hace ya un par de semanas, busqué algunas fotos de referencia por Google y se la mostré a la peluquera, ella estaba muy contenta porque me dijo que disfrutaba mucho realizar cambios radicales y realmente fue notable el entusiasmo que mostró mientras cortaba mi cabello, yo podía ver su rostro de satisfacción a través del espejo, es una pena que en ese momento no se me ocurrió tomar fotografías.
The day I decided to do it, a couple of weeks ago, I looked for some reference photos on Google and showed it to the hairdresser, she was very happy because she told me that she really enjoyed making radical changes and it was really remarkable the enthusiasm she showed while cutting my hair, I could see her face of satisfaction through the mirror, it's a pity that at that moment I didn't think of taking pictures.
Ver una cantidad abundante de mi cabello en el piso fue emocionante, no por el acto en sí mismo, ya que tiendo a cortarme el cabello con bastante frecuencia, las últimas 2 veces que lo hice antes de esta que les estoy compartiendo le pedí el favor a mi amiga 
Seeing an abundant amount of my hair on the floor was exciting, not because of the act itself, as I tend to cut my hair quite often, the last 2 times I did it before this one I am sharing with you I asked my friend
Fue la primera vez que sentí una máquina de afeitar en mi cabeza, me gustó la sensación, sentir mi nuca totalmente descubierta sin tener que hacerme un moño me parece genial, estaba emocionada y a la vez ansiosa por ver el resultado, el cual realmente me encantó.
It was the first time I felt a razor on my head, I liked the feeling, feeling my neck totally uncovered without having to make a bun seems great, I was excited and at the same time anxious to see the result, which I really loved.
Me ha parecido un buen cambio y he recibido algunos elogios de mis allegados que me han parecido bastante sinceros. A mí me ha encantado el corte desde todos los ángulos, la peluquera me dijo que se llama corte 45. Luego indagué y se llama así por la inclinación en que se va cortando cada mecha de cabello, en este caso 45°, no necesariamente un corte de este tipo debe ser tan corto.
I thought it was a nice change and I have received some compliments from people close to me that I found quite sincere. I loved the cut from all angles, the hairdresser told me it's called a 45° cut. Then I looked into it and it's called that because of the angle at which each strand of hair is cut, in this case 45°, not necessarily a cut like this has to be that short.
Hacer un cariñito a nuestro cabello y atrevernos a probar cosas nuevas con él puede influir de forma positiva en nuestra autoestima.
Tending to our hair and daring to try new things with it can have a positive influence on our self-esteem.
