Mi lugar favorito de cuba es mi barrio, creo que nacer ahí más allá de poder ser malo, ha sido una eterna bendición ya que guardo los recuerdos más grandes que nunca llegaré a tener. Desde mi primer vidrio roto de un pelotazo, a tener siempre mi casa llena de gente del barrio.
My favorite place in Cuba is my neighborhood, I think that being born there, beyond being bad, has been an eternal blessing because I keep the greatest memories that I will never have. From my first broken glass from a ball, to always having my house full of people from my neighborhood.
Mi infancia siempre fue muy alegre, mis padres procuraron darme lo que pudieron pero sobre todo imponer en mi educación valores que agradezco de corazón, ya que de grande me parece ilógico que una persona no ayude a un adulto mayor o que se sienta uno mismo con la suficiente autoestima para salir adelante.
My childhood was always very happy, my parents tried to give me what they could but above all to impose in my education values that I am very grateful for, since when I grew up it seems illogical to me that a person does not help an older adult or that one feels oneself with enough self-esteem to get ahead.
Después de pasar el servicio militar activo me encuentro perdido sin saber que hacer, un compañero me motiva a seguir sus pasos en la cocina y me asoció a la Asociación Culinaria de la República de Cuba.
After passing the active military service I find myself lost without knowing what to do, a colleague motivates me to follow in his footsteps in the kitchen and I joined the Culinary Association of the Republic of Cuba.
De manera personal empecé en la casa por lo básico, créeme me costó mucho entender las bases de lo que es cocinar. Después que aprendí que hay salsas bases, que hay términos de cocina y que cada chef tiene su libro personal, me tocó naufragar en tantas aguas que hoy por hoy me hacen decir que aún estoy lejos de alcanzar mis sueños.
Personally I started at home with the basics, believe me it was hard for me to understand the basics of cooking. After I learned that there are base sauces, that there are cooking terms and that each chef has his own personal book, I had to be shipwrecked in so many waters that today I can say that I am still far from achieving my dreams.
Recibí cursos especializados hasta concluir con lunchería. Trabajé en un restaurant llamado Bichat de mi localidad durante 3 años. Tres años en los que aprendí muchas técnicas de salón porqué lamentablemente no pude estar de cocinero. Mi pasión sufrió mucho pero esto me impulso a ser más fuerte, tantas puertas cerradas en el camino, cada gota de sudor, cada vez que caía derrotado por otro con más experiencia o que la vida me derrotará, del suelo me levanté y continúe.
I received specialized courses until concluding with lunchería. I worked in a restaurant called Bichat in my town for 3 years. Three years in which I learned many salon techniques because unfortunately I could not be a cook. My passion suffered a lot but this pushed me to be stronger, so many doors closed along the way, every drop of sweat, every time I fell defeated by another with more experience or life defeated me, I got up from the ground and continued.
Al comenzar la conocida crisis humanitaria del COVID me ví expuesto a tomar trabajos fuera de mi rama como construcción, preparando mezclas de pintura. Esto me amplio la vista de que no siempre se obtiene lo que uno quiere, pero que todo en la vida pasa por algo, cada crisis te templa el carácter. Todo esto con el fin de poder mantener a mi familia a flote, vivo con mis padres en Guanabacoa, los cuales son un pilar muy grande en mi vida y mis mascotas, tres rottweiler que si los ven se asustan, sobre todo con la cachorra, está nació con problemas en los huesos.
At the beginning of the well-known humanitarian crisis of the COVID I was exposed to take jobs outside my field as a construction worker, preparing paint mixtures. This made me realize that you don't always get what you want, but that everything in life happens for a reason, every crisis tempers your character. All this in order to keep my family afloat, I live with my parents in Guanabacoa, which are a very big pillar in my life and my pets, three rottweiler that if they see them they get scared, especially with the puppy, she was born with bone problems.

Me gusta la informática y la música. Siempre impulso con gran aliento a mis amistades que no creen tener el potencial para tomar las riendas de la vida. He participado muchas veces en eventos benéficos con el fin de alimentar sanamente a los niños en las escuelas. Mi normativa de vida sugiere que un cuerpo sano crea una base de mente sana. La psicología me gustaría alguna vez estudiarla, para entender las particularidades de las personas y sus comportamientos.
I like computers and music. I always push with great encouragement my friends who do not believe they have the potential to take charge of life. I have participated many times in charity events in order to feed healthy children in schools. My life guidelines suggest that a healthy body creates a healthy mind base. I would like to study psychology sometime, to understand the particularities of people and their behaviors.
Me gusta la ropa clásica, los trajes, las PC tuneadas y dedicar 3 horas al día a los juegos en línea. Mi parte favorita del mundo sería Canadá espero encontrar la manera de algún día caminar por sus frías calles.

Siempre me he criado con perros aunque conozco lo que es tener gatos, aves hasta tortugas. Cada vez que uno está en su compañía sientes como te llena la vida de sensaciones tan relajantes que podría considerarse un método contra la ira.
I have always been raised with dogs although I know what it is like to have cats, birds and even turtles. Every time you are in their company you feel how it fills your life with such relaxing sensations that it could be considered a method against anger.
De la comida soy fan de la española, pero en general me encanta España. Su cultura, gastronomía, paisajes y acento. Tengo amistades que viven ahí desde hace mucho y mis bisabuelos son de Islas Canarias. Me encanta su programa Master Chef, creo que más que un programa es una oportunidad que solo muy pocos pueden vivirla.

Cursé el proyecto La Moneda Cubana, allí recibí una base de la coctelería, de los vinos, de los cigarros, que me ha ayudado a ampliar mis metas en vista a un mañana. Soy el autor de un postre llamado Salto del Angel, por el cual fui entrevistado. Este postre es una panetela clásica, rellena de crema de chocolate, cubierto con una densa capa de frutos secos crocantes.
I attended the project La Moneda Cubana, where I received a base of cocktails, wines, cigars, which has helped me to expand my goals in view of tomorrow. I am the author of a dessert called Salto del Angel, for which I was interviewed. This dessert is a classic panettone, filled with chocolate cream, covered with a dense layer of crunchy nuts.
Me gusta el inglés estoy recibiendo clases personales para mejorar mis capacidades tanto para escuchar como para hablar. Mi grupo de amistades es bien variado pero siempre son gente buena.
I like English and I am taking personal lessons to improve my listening and speaking skills. My group of friends is very varied but they are always good people.
Empecé a trabajar en Los Nardos que es mi actual trabajo como dependiente, y gracias a Dios, a los àngeles y a toda la corte celestial me está llendo bien con muchos planes a futuro. Uno de estos es poder en algún momento seguir educándome profesionalmente en otra parte del mundo.
Para la comunidad seguidora de la buena música y comida hecha por los artistas culinarios, espero poder conocernos mejor en algún futuro.
I started working at Los Nardos which is my current job as a clerk, and thanks to God, the angels and all the heavenly court I am doing well with many plans for the future. One of these is to be able at some point to continue my professional education in another part of the world.
