Soft Fluffy Char Siu Pau

My favorite Chinese cuisine is Chinese Steam Bun. Chinese Steam Bun is a pillowy soft steamed buns filled with a sweet, savoury saucy pork filling. I usually take this bun for breakfast at Restaurant Lo Chun Fatt. This restaurant was opened ten years ago and operated by a Sino-kadazan owner.

I usually ordered this Chinese Steam Bun filled with minced pork meat or commonly known as Char Siu Pau. The bun is perfectly fluffy filled with tender and juicy minced pork and has some eggs in it.

Just look at that delicious filling inside the bun! Some people just break this bun into half and eat it. I usually peel-off that thin skin of the bun before eating it...just in case its dirty or something.

My husband usually ordered this meal for breakfast. Plain fried economy Mee Hoon with egg and Rolled Pork Skins with minced meat inside. This Roll Pork Skins is delicious and juicy.

The meal that we had are the most simple authentic Chinese cuisine offered by the restaurant at a hawker price. The price are truly affordable and the meal is light.
