No estaba exactamente deshecha. Solo estaba... mal.
Nadie iba a venir a revisarlo. Nadie iba a saber cómo había quedado mi cama aquella mañana.
Todavía no estaba bien.
Me quedé mirándola unos segundos.
No siempre podemos ordenar nuestra cabeza. No siempre podemos ordenar nuestra vida.

Hello @holos-lotus community, with this post I continue the series. I don't always have something important to say.
Most days pass without memorable scenes, without sentences worth underlining, and without clear conclusions. Even so, something remains. Not as a lesson or a revelation, but as a thin layer over everyday life.
That is where the idea for this series comes from: Between what happens and what I don't say.
It is not an attempt to explain myself or find meaning in everything. It is a way of observing what usually stays outside the conversation: small gestures, everyday habits, moments that are never announced but are still there.
I write from everyday life, from what can be observed. It doesn't need to be profound to be real. I'm not trying to reach conclusions or leave messages behind. I simply record things, like someone noting the weather without judging it.
So there will be no answers and no promises. Only small scenes, ordinary days, and a voice that observes.

There are mornings when making a bed seems much easier than putting everything else in order.
This morning I was in a hurry. One of those mornings when the phone starts demanding attention before you've even fully woken up. There were messages waiting, things to deal with, and a workday that already seemed too long before it had even begun.
I looked at the clock. I had to leave.
But before I did, I looked at the bed.
It wasn't exactly unmade. It was just... wrong. One corner of the sheet had folded over, one pillow was slightly lower than the other, and the cushion was crooked.
I could have left it that way. Nobody was going to inspect it. Nobody was going to know what my bed looked like that morning.
But I started fixing it.
I stretched the sheet and smoothed it with my hands. I adjusted one pillow, then the other, and finally the cushion. I took a step back to look at the result.
It still wasn't right.
I stepped closer again and moved the cushion a few centimeters.
Now it was right.
Or so I thought.
As I did all of this, I realized something rather absurd. I was in a hurry, yet I was spending several minutes making sure a bed was perfectly arranged.
Why?
I didn't have an immediate answer. I simply needed it to be that way.
Maybe because there were too many things I couldn't put in order.
I couldn't organize everything I had to do. I couldn't control the conversations I'd have during the day or decide how other people would behave. I couldn't know what problem might appear halfway through the morning, or whether I would have enough energy at the end of the day to do everything I'd planned.
There were too many things beyond my reach.
But that bed could be exactly the way I wanted it.
A stretched sheet. A pillow in its place. A straight cushion.
Three small things that obeyed.
And maybe that was enough.
I stood there looking at it for a few seconds. The room seemed different, even though almost nothing had changed. The same clothes were still on the chair, the same phone was full of notifications, the same unfinished things were waiting, and the same day was waiting behind the door.
Nothing had been solved.
But one thing was in its place.
I thought that perhaps we do certain things not because they matter to anyone else, but because we need to feel that we can still put something in order.
We can't always organize our thoughts. We can't always organize our lives. Sometimes we can't even organize what we feel.
But we can fold a sheet, adjust a pillow, put something back where it belongs.
And for a few minutes, that is enough.
I put on my shoes, picked up my keys, and looked at the bed one more time before leaving.
Perfect.
The rest of the day came with no guarantees.
As I closed the door, I thought that maybe this little ritual had less to do with cleanliness. Not even really with order. Maybe it had to do with starting the day knowing that, at least, there was one thing I could control.
A small island of order before stepping into everything else.
I don't know if I'll do exactly the same thing tomorrow. Probably. Maybe I'll stretch the sheet too much again, maybe I'll move the cushion a few centimeters, and I'll probably think once again that I'm wasting time.
But I also know that, on some mornings, those few minutes are a quiet way of telling myself that there are still things I can put in their place.
And maybe I don't need much more than that to begin the day.
I couldn't put the day in order. So I made the bed.
With this, the thirty-fifth chapter comes to an end and I say goodbye. Tell me in the comments what you thought, and if you would like to support it, it will be greatly appreciated.
