My VOICES may be out of tune
StillI will sing for you wholeheartedly
With my coarse voice filled with love
Love genuine and true.
My HANDS maybe palsied
But, I can still cook for you
Menudo, asado, estopado at adobo
Just say your wish and I shall fill your tummy.
My EAR may sometimes not hear properly
but heart beats in the same rhythm
For if become a couple I'm definitely sure -
That you will be the only one in my heart.
My FEET may both be left
Unable to dance to the beats of your desires
But for you - I will do my best
So I can dance to your favourite Tango.
I may be old-fashioned and left behind by trends
Like the people, you see in streets -
But expect that once we become a couple
You will find a one-of-a-kind fashion.
So Cupid, hear my one and only wish
Stand proper and aim well
So your arrow can make a direct hit
To her heart I so desire.
I may not be picture perfect,
But I assure you
If it's love we are talking about
I am the man who will love you to the ends of the world.
I am no carpenter -
That hits promises with a hammer
For me, I am an Engineer,
I shall make a blueprint out of your love.
Until I can build a sturdy foundation -
That even the strongest storm can't break down
I shall write down the materials I need
So that you can know and see --
That I'm the one who will put back your broken pieces
So please don't grade me as a failure
If all you will do is give me false hope.
Love me even if it's just a joke
I'll take care of turning it into a serious one.
Though you give me glimpses of your affection
I shall propagate it and make the feeling grow.
Just for you,
Genuine love, I offer only for you.
I hope you give me a little space
To the heart that you always shut off
Give me a chance-
to open your eyes and show you,
How beautiful this world can be -
With me beside you.
Thank you
