Here we gather as we head back to work and see what our cryptos will do this week while we earn some more FIAT to invest. I have not done daily updates in quite a while....not because I am becoming disenfranchised with Crypto or less supportive of the STEEM platform. It is simply because when the markets go like -----------, I found myself saying the same things every day which I don't think is good reading for my followers. Plus, I am unable to do much networking with a $.00 100% upvote.
So, until the markets get super fun again and STEEM returns to glory, thanks for the support and know I am here every day!
The ticker this morning is looking a little red as Bitcoin volume has petered off and price is just below $8400. Ethereum Classic appears to be finishing its run close to $10 while EOS, Tron and NEO are down over 7% on the day. In the Poodle Race of interesting newer alts Tron, Lumens, 0X Protocol, Funfair and aELF, ELF is in the lead up 3% on the day while Tron is down nearly 9% at this point in last place.
T&A today is brought to you by @abh12345 and his text wall of data! https://steemit.com/steem/@abh12345/may-2019-monthly-steem-report-via-script
Looking again to the daily Bitcoin chart, these little false starts and stops are making me wonder as we linger near the oversold line on the Stochastic Relative Support index on the bottom. The MACD and STOCH are showing a little continued downtrend but nothing to be alarmed about. The 30-day support line (that is on a nice angle upward) seems to be holding for now and we haven't dipped below the median Bollinger line since April. You can check older CryptoPub posts for my weekly chart caution and why I think we are going to correct shortly. If the support lines break, and there is a small move to the bottom of the STOCH for another run, I am looking to pick up a little at the old resistance line (~7,800) and again at the lower Bollinger line where it meets the 50-day moving average near the other old resistance line ($7,200) These will have relatively tight stop losses in case my bearish projection kicks in before the next little run.
Bonus T&A brought to you by long time pub goer @slobberchops spudding and becoming a big ass dolphin! https://steemit.com/spud/@slobberchops/spud-day-dolphin-promotion-and-chops-support-changes
I am probably as bored as you are hearing from me focus on Bitcoin but it has been futile to analyse many other alts as they seem to be following closely enough not to make a difference. Either way, I am looking at the uptick in EOS trading volume and the hype surrounding the MEOS/Voice launch to try and snag some profit. The STOCH is still heading lower from the recent high and the MACD is crossing down (generally results in a nice drop)under higher volume so we may have fireworks. If EOS is going to stay bullish, price will stay above the Median Bollinger line which is where I have a limit order. The 50-day MA seems to be providing support so I have a buy placed there as well. If it weren't for the bigger movements and attention, I would simply be looking to pick some up on the 4-month support line, which proved to be an excellent buy last time when price grazed the lower Bollinger Line.
