¿Qué me duele?

Sometimes we set foot in places that marked a before and after in our lives, that's where the memories start, the nostalgia and many times it even makes us cry. When a place means a lot to you, it hurts to see it in conditions that were not there when you were there.
That was my case, I had the opportunity to visit my alma mater, my first house of studies that one day saw me enter full of hope and allowed me to leave with a big smile, because although in my beginnings inside it were the best in terms of quality of teaching, university environment and pleasant context, and now the opposite happens, from the desolation and student desertion, to the loneliness that is vented in the hallways, it is still that place that saw me grow as a professional and allowed me to graduate from the best career I could have chosen.
Currently, the conditions are even worse than those I left one day, and it hurts my house, it hurts the place that brought so many smiles to my life along with exceptional friends.
In my visit to the University of Zulia, I realized that it needs its students and its professors to keep alive that atmosphere of studies that once breathed strongly, and not only studies, I think that many here found more than that. In this house I found my best friends, the love of my life, I found the courage in each person that with much effort went to study, students of different ages, mostly young, but more admirable was to see how seniors decided to go in search of what one day they dreamed of being. That's wonderful!
What did I see?
I saw a place that needs everyone to be lifted, one of the most important houses of studies in Venezuela needs a boost, the one that the university community itself can give it. I believe that if we all do our part, we will achieve the complete reactivation of this university.
What hurts me?
It makes me feel bad that when young people start their careers and see the current conditions of the university campus, they get discouraged and decide not to study.
What motivates me to write this post?
Nostalgia, why nostalgia, because remembering where I come from and the difficulties that I faced on the way to finish my career, inspires me to tell young people that it is possible to go in search of their dreams.
I do not regret having studied at LUZ, I still remember that first day so motivating and they played us a very famous song of the famous singer, Luis Miguel, who said "Dream of tomorrow .... live with the emotion of feeling again, to live". I assure you that with that video more than one young newcomer could cry, I was one of them.
Life gives us such beautiful moments to live that many times we miss the opportunity to be aware of other things.
I encourage every young person to continue, to believe, there really is hope, there is faith.
