As a Christians you ought to wait for God's time, you do not have to seek for a wife desperately, God will provide for you, so you have to wait patiently for God's time.
Adam in the Bible didn't ask God for a wife, but God gave him a wife when he saw Adam needed a wife, there's no proof that Adam asked God for a wife, or was desperate for a wife but God saw that he needs a wife and gave him a wife.
Every man created by God has a wife ordained for him by God , you ought to be patience, until it's God's perfect time to get married , there should be no rush or anxiety to marry, wait on God, so you don't end up with the wrong partner .
God knows it's not good for a man to be alone, like he said in Genesis 2 vs 18, you ought to be patience untill you meet God ordained partner for you.
