Have you ever sat to think about life before the invention of technology, innovation has impacted every sector of the humanity and made living very easy , I would like to start with some impact technology have created to humanity in few sectors.
lets talk about the agricultural , with the help of technology there are spray drones for watering plants and tractor for land clearing, planting, transportation and many more.
Technologies carries out different functions in modern agriculture.
These activities were formerly carried out by humans hands . I believe before technological breakthrough, men used their bare hands to harvest hectares of land , to plant, transport, bring down big tree, clear farm and many more activities. Leading to severe human labour.
Lets also consider communication in modern world, we can communicate via chat, calls, video calls, and send emails across the world with the use of technology.
We get news from across the globes, we use social media platforms to get informed and entertained at any time of the day and this activity is being carried out by the use of portable devices called a smart phone and an Internet.
With the use of phone we are able to keep relationships, friendships and even marriages .
Without stress, we are able to run businesses in and outside our countries.
The phone has created alot of jobs for people and even made some people billionaires.
When you think about the important of these invention, you will really ask yourself how our forefathers communicated, I believe they had messengers, but the messengers most have really suffered.
Lastly, transportation, technology have made transportation easy, enjoyable, and super interesting.
Now people travel for fun and site seeing always, let's imagine you are using a horse or camel that doesn't have a shield against sun and rain to travel, you won't call it fun, the sun, breeze, rain and everything will affect you .
The less privileged ones in the olden days were walking from very far distances, all day and night to get to their various destinations.
But with the help of tricycles,trains,cars, and planes traveling is now easy and less stressful for the rich and poor.
The outbreak of technology have brought so much change in every aspect of humanity, technology have made life less complex and easy.
In response to this week prompt, my favorite innovation is an elevator and escalators .
If you have lived in an upstairs and you go out daily, you would appreciate the innovation of elevators and escalators . As a child I struggle with climbing upstairs often , growing up we stayed at the third floor of a four storey building .
So climbing stairs have always been an issue for me, when I was teenager my parents and elderly siblings will always send me on an errand. In a day I will climbing up and down like 5 times.
It has always been a burden for me, it hurts my legs alot .
The most annoying part of the day is after a long day at school, the long walk back home and the next obstacle you have to face before going to rest is climbing the stairs. Climbing the stairs often really traumatized me.
The first time I used an escalator was at ShopRite, the excitement made me used it over and over again, I was scared at first trial but it gave me so much joy to see that there's an innovation that can save you from using the stairs.
When I finally used an escalator, it was comfortable and enjoyable, I used it over and over again.
I first used an elevator at my aunt's wedding,we stayed in a hotel and I enjoyed my stay at the hotel because of the elevator.
I love the invention escalators and elevators that's because of how they make climbing stairs so easy and fast, you don't have to walk up and down stairs, you just have to stand and be carried like a baby.
I would really like to have this in my future home because of how they make living comfortable and healthy.
My second favorite innovation is the modern kitchen technologies, they make me fantasize and dream of my future kitchen , the dish washer, the ice cream maker, the smart coffee maker, the oven, the airfryer and many more.
I can't wait to have a kitchen like that, it makes cooking and baking really easy and fun.
Makes kitchen chores faster and less stressful for people.
If there's something I would really love to invent is a device or tracker that would be used to search for missing properties, and this is become I really hate looking for things and I'm good at misplacing things.
Thank God for the Innovation and invention of technology in the 21st century, it has really made the world easy , beautiful and interesting.
