Last week prompt was about technology, this might sound funny but for a long time I referred to AI as a technology and I still do.
I can vividly remember the first day I knew about chatgpt, I doubted it ability with my friends, I kept typing mathematical questions and chatgpt gave me step by steps solution, the answers were accurate and explanable.
My friend called it Artificial Intelligence, but I saw it as an emerging Technology .
I was so marveled. I got the website immediately and sent it to my siblings and friends in school.
To me AI is a brilliant invention, an emerging technology that humans have to work hand in gloves with, to make life easier and better.
I can remember using AI during my final year project, do you know why I succeeded, my supervisor was an old professor, in his 80's, obviously doing the job because of Passion.
I was able to defend it, because I read it and understood it perfectly. I merged my human intelligence and Artificial intelligence.
He was really impressed, because I had the knowledge of what I was defending, I just needed a fast way to write up chapters without making much research.
And AI gave it to me.
The application of human intelligence and Artificial intelligence, brings out the best.
I advised a colleague of mine to do the same, but she was caught, her supervisor was a young graduate trainee, that knew about AI detector, when she came to tell me how she was caught and asked to rewrite three chapter in less than a week, I couldn't stop laughing.
Although she didn't filter some words, she just did copy and paste and had zero knowledge on her topic.
All her informations were gotten from AI.
Permit me to say, she was lazy and depended on only Artificial intelligence.
Ai is good, permit me to use the word sweet, it makes work 100% easy and enjoyable, but you get the best of it, when you study and understand it. You get the best when you don't totally depend on it.
Ai can really make you a lazy person if you are not careful, too much of everything is bad. Ai should be used with caution.
Also AI, creates a serious unbalance between the young and the old.
The younger supervisor was able to dictate it was AI, because he knew about AI, but the older man didn't suspect anything, he assumed I made research at the library.
My Administrator at work is in her mid 60's, but doesn't know I use AI to execute most tasks , she just believes I will sort it out, and probably thinks I'm having sleepless night, writing letters, reports, and other official assignments.
She will always appreciate me for putting my best into work, but she doesn't know AI supports me alot at my work space.
I have seen this lady used her human intelligence to write when necessary, most times she goes back to test books to remember some steps and she comes out with the best too.
Also, there's no limit to knowledge, I still believe that an old person can learn to use AI .
Ai was created to make work easy for humans, they were created to assist us achieve our task easier and faster, Artificial intelligence doesn't have a disadvantage on it own, it's the abuse of artificial intelligence that's has a disadvantage.
When you abuse ai, you create a disadvantage, and the major disadvantage it creates for you is making you lazy and overly dependent on it.
When you find yourself not being able to execute any task on your own, so addicted to using AI, then that's a problem, AI is meant to assist and make work easier and faster for you , you are in control, don't let AI control you.
I know most humans have the fear of AI taking over some jobs, my take on that is that humans should learn to use AI tools, Ai can't operate without humans. Learning to use AI will also create jobs for people.
The Ai machine in the hospital needs maintainance, the AI machine in industrial places also needs to be maintained, and this are being executed by human beings, in future I believe there will be a course called AI engineer.
Ai machine and tools where created to work with Humans, in future the possibility of AI replacing some jobs is high and also the possibility of creating more jobs is high for people who have the knowledge of how to use this tools /machine.
If i have my way I will teach people how to merge their human intelligence and artificial intelligence to work.
Ai has it positive and negative impacts to humanity, how you utilize AI determines how you will be impacted.
With the help of Artificial intelligence and Human intelligence, the world can really be a better place.
