Познайомилась я з вітряком дуже давно. Коли ми вперше приїхали у готель на воді "Нептун", який пришвартований до острівця у верхів'ях Київського водосховища. До так званої великої суші, тобто до берега, відстань близько 4-х кілометрів. Тому, щоб потрапити на цей корабель-готель, потрібно подолати цю відстань по воді на човні.
Звісно, на такій віддаленості від суші, благ цивілізації як-то електроенергія подати звичайним способом ніяк не вийде. Тому на "Нептуні" встановлені вітряки і сонячні панелі. Вони виробляють основну частину енергії, яка накопичується у великій кількості акумуляторів. Живлення від них і подається і на кухню корабля, і в каюти, і в кафе та на палуби. Та цього все одно не вистачає для обслуговування всіх гостей готелю, особливо в сезон риболовлі. Додаткову електрику виробляє генератор. Таким чином, приїхавши на "Нептун", що стоїть вдалині від цивілізації та суші, ти не відчуваєш цієї віддаленості. Навпаки: посидіти на палубі за філіжанкою кави під шум вітряків - дуже романтично!
I got acquainted with the windmill a long time ago. When we first arrived at the hotel on the water "Neptun", which is moored to an island in the upper reaches of the Kyiv Reservoir. The distance to the so-called big land, i.e. to the shore, is about 4 kilometers. Therefore, to get to this ship-hotel, you have to cover this distance by water by boat.
Of course, at such a distance from the land, it will not be possible to provide the benefits of civilization with electricity in the usual way. That is why windmills and solar panels are installed on Neptune. They produce the main part of the energy that accumulates in a large number of batteries. Food from them is supplied to the ship's kitchen, cabins, cafes and decks. But this is still not enough to serve all hotel guests, especially during the fishing season. Additional electricity is produced by a generator. Thus, having arrived on "Neptune", which stands far from civilization and land, you do not feel this remoteness. On the contrary: sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee to the sound of windmills is very romantic!
Обставини зараз не дають можливості поїхати на "Нептун". Але як приємно, що неподалік від нашого дому також є вітряк, схожий на той самий 'нептунівський'! Хоча його не так часто задіюють у роботу, все одно - почути цей приємний романтичний шум я завжди рада. Шкода, що у нас не розвивається у приватному секторі автономність джерел енергії. Звісно, вітряком не вирішиш у повному обсязі всіх потреб. Але ж людству треба нові винаходи та вдосконалення. І якби не гонитва за озброєннями, викликана великим бажанням деяких імперій воювати... Ех.
Circumstances now do not allow to go to "Neptune". But how nice that near our house there is also a windmill similar to the same "Neptunian" one! Although it is not often used in work, I am always glad to hear this pleasant romantic noise. It is a pity that we do not develop autonomy of energy sources in the private sector. Of course, you can't solve all your needs with a windmill. But humanity needs new inventions and improvements. And if it were not for the pursuit of weapons, caused by the great desire of some empires to fight... Eh.
