Чудовий день розпочався із гарної прогулянки. Ще й не поодинці: мені компанію склала давня подруга, а до Хенка з особливою любов'ю та радістю приєдналися аж дві красуні. Мій песик трішечки зашарівся від таких знаків уваги, адже не так часто випадає нагода побігати лісом разом із собі подібними. Все його життя пов'язане із нами, людьми. Тому Хенк часом забуває, що він - собака. І не вміє спілкуватися з іншими хвостиками.

A wonderful day started with a nice walk. And not alone: I was joined by an old friend, and two beauties joined Hank with special love and joy. My dog was a little confused by such signs of attention, because it is not so often that he has the opportunity to run through the forest with his kind. His whole life is connected with us, people. That's why Hank sometimes forgets that he is a dog. And he does not know how to communicate with other tails.
Гарна сонячна погода нарешті дала можливість обробити всі мої кущі, деревця і виноград. Це вже великий плюс, бо я знаю, як важко буває влітку позбавити всі мої рослини від хвороб чи від комах. А весняна перша обробка бордоською сумішшю чи залізним купоросом додає рослинам сил самостійно справитися із всіма болячками. Звісно, обробки потрібно буде повторювати ще не раз. Але я боялася, що через дощі так і не встигну обприскати свій сад, поки не розпустилися бруньки. А це - дуже важливо.
Через занадто багато бажань і купу гарного насіння цікавих рослин вирішила ще трішечки газону пустити під грядки. Ну не поміщається у мене ні кукурудза, ні квасоля з гарбузами! Траву ж їсти не будемо. А от горошку би для салатів законсервувати - я не проти.
Просто на очах почали розпускатися квіти нарцису. Десь взявся гарний жук, який стурбовано кудись прямував по копаному. Настрій - найкращий, навіть не відчувається втома від роботи. Отак би з ранку до вечора на вулиці працювала б, навіть у хату йти не хочеться!
Good sunny weather finally gave me the opportunity to process all my bushes, trees and grapes. This is already a big plus, because I know how difficult it is to rid all my plants of diseases or insects in the summer. And the first spring treatment with Bordeaux mixture or iron sulfate gives the plants strength to cope with all the sores on their own. Of course, the processing will need to be repeated more than once. But I was afraid that because of the rains, I wouldn't have time to spray my garden before the buds bloomed. And this is very important.
Having a desire to grow a variety of vegetables, and having a lot of good seeds of interesting plants, I decided to let a little more lawn under the flower beds. I want to plant corn, peas, and beans, but there is not enough space.
Narcissus flowers began to bloom just before my eyes. Somewhere a beautiful beetle appeared, restlessly heading somewhere along the dug-up ground. The mood is the best, you don't even feel tired from work. So I would work on the street from morning to evening, I don't even want to go into the house!
Але весняна погода дуже мінлива. Налетіла велика темна хмара, почався дощ. Добре, що у нас є затишна тераса: тут можна перечекати негоду. Ще й якимись корисними справами зайнятись.
Збіглися всі: і ми з мамою, і Хенк, і котики. Сховалися від дощу. А тут ще і громи з блискавками почалися. Ще й такі гучні, наче зараз не квітень, а червень! А потім дощ змінився градом. Добре, що кульки граду були маленькі, і що він швидко закінчився.
Я вирішила разом з мамою перебрати свої запаси насіння. І виявилось, що потрібно деякі з них замочити для проростання. Бо зовсім скоро вже пора і висаджувати на грядки.

Everyone agreed: me, and mom, and Hank, and the cats. They hid from the rain. And then the thunder and lightning started. Even so loud, as if now it's not April, but June! And then the rain turned to hail. It is good that the hailstones were small and that it ended quickly.
I decided to go through my seed stocks with my mother. And it turned out that it is necessary to soak some of them for germination. Because very soon it will be time to plant in the beds.
Дуже близький той час, коли тобі не вистачає дня для виконання всіх задуманих на ділянці робіт. Але я обожнюю саме такий розпорядок дня. Бо тоді нема часу сумувати чи сумніватися в чомусь, навіть нема часу хворіти. Бо ти відповідальна за все, що посіяла чи посадила у землю. Як говорив Маленький Принц: "Ми відповідальні за тих, кого приручили". І кого виростили на землі - теж. 😍
