We left Šerklava, where we slept, at around 9 am and set off on the most beautiful section of our journey, which passes through Velké Karlovice and the famous peaks of Javorník, Stratenec, and others.
We had a nice lunch on the mountain known as Kohútka, but we almost didn't have a place to sit because we didn't guess that we were going on a holiday and there was a fair. Fortunately, the restaurant service was very fast and after an hour's rest, we could start to meet the next kilometers.
We walked all day in a forest with the sun shining through the treetops creating a peaceful atmosphere. Plus, you don't get too hot because the forest keeps the cold at bay, but at the same time, you have enough visibility to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
There are great markings in the Beskydy Mountains where it is impossible to go off the path and every few meters you will see a sign that you have to follow and every 2-3km a signpost that will show you the way. There just aren't that many restaurants in the area we walked so you have to have plenty of food and water with you. There are a couple of springs but you shouldn't rely on them too much.
During dinner, we got a pretty view of stars and I went to take a few more pictures before wrapping it up in my sleeping bag and falling asleep.
