My favorite social media platform.

Introduction.

Hello naijians,

How are you? I hope this meets you well. Am glad to make my first entry into the @hivenaija prompts of the week.

The topic I will deliberate on today is;

What's your favorite social platform? Tell us about that platform you can't do without engaging with every day and why it is so special to you.

There are many of social media platforms, which may include; Facebook, ticktock Instagram, Whatsapp, YouTube, tweeter which have now been renamed as X.

Social media networks are platforms people use to socialize with other people that have same believes or share same or similar personal or professional orientations, life activities or backgrounds.

Social media platforms are internet based. This means that you can only become a member through the use of a device that can connect to the internet. Like; smart phones, desktops, ipads, laptops etc.

I own a profile on almost all the prominent social media platforms, including; Facebook, ticktock, Instagram YouTube etc. Sadly, I have not earned a dime for many years numbers of years I have used these platforms. I only spend my meager resources buying data subscriptions to remain afloat. But since I joined hive the story changed.

Why hive is my favorite social media platform.

About three months ago, a friend of mine; @fokusnow introduced me to #hive Blockchain. And just like magic, I started earnings from the first post I made on the Blockchain. The post was an introductory post on Leofinance. And since that time, I have continued to make more money for doing the usual things I did on the formal platforms without any form of rewards or encouragement.

Moreso, I have met people from different countries and cultures. Who through the contents the create, have thought me lots of things about their bellives, values, and cultures.

Again, Hive is a decentralized social media platform void of any form of censorship and control. It allows for independent and transparent information sharing which helps to make the platform more secured and reliable.

Furthermore, since I joined hive, I have been exposed to the the vast and endless potentials and opportunities ogmf of hive and a decentralized #web3 platform.

I have had savings of both leo and hive. This I acheived by saving about 75% of all my earnings on the platform. Below are proof of my savings in the last 6month in #hive power and #leo power.

The above shows that apart powered up a greater percentage of my earnings. Apart from a few times I withdrew from my earnings to meet very serious financial needs. In all, I have a savings of over 150 Dollars. This is a big win for me and I plan to power up all my earnings going forward.

Another reason I prefer hive over the rest is because of the privacy and security of the Blockchain. I had lost two of my Facebook profiles to havkers. These sort of things are not common under hive because, the privacy and security of users are top priority to Blockchain. This have helped to build earn users trust overtime.

Conclusion.

In conclusion, hive's uninterrupted presence over the years have shown how sustainable and reliable it can be. This it acheived amidst changes in market conditions and trends.

I have already chosen hive as my retirement plan. I am looking at where I will be in the next 5 - 10 years.
