I woke up this morning to see bitcoin is less than half of the crypto marketcap. I knew this was bound to happen with bitcoin's competition having more interesting and better platforms. And bitcoin price took a bit of a hit, seemingly over that ransomware bug demanding payment in bitcoin. This makes no sense to me. If a kidnapper takes your child and demands payment in dollars, would you blame the dollar for the kidnapping? But I guess that is the way it goes. Here is a little video talking about this:
