This one first ran on Steem this morning. Sharing it here for the maker crowd.

Compounding on-chain: delegation, curation, and patience

Another one from the maker side of the network.

The compounding instruments on these networks are unglamorous. Stake earns curation rewards when it votes early on good content. Curation rewards become more stake. More stake means more Resource Credits and more vote weight, which makes the next curation cycle slightly more productive. Delegation speeds the early part of the curve for a young account, capacity first, weight later. None of it moves fast, all of it moves in one direction, and none of it requires trusting a counterparty with custody. The failure mode is impatience: withdrawing stake to chase a quick trade resets the curve to zero. The realistic framing is a slow engine that runs while you sleep, in a currency that only exists because you showed up.
