I'm not sure whether it's because I'm in my mid-twenties and becoming exhausted with other things, or if it's simply the culture I live in. I can say that a lot has changed, and it seems like all I want to do now is go back to my youth and play with rubber bands and Barbie dolls. I believe that there are moments when the world is harsh and that everything seems to revolve around the usage of technology. Hatred of others, political and religious rants, body shaming, racism, pranking, and so forth. These are the ones I constantly see, and unfortunately, I can still see them on my social media. I sometimes deactivate social applications and just conduct physical activities at home. Nonetheless, I ended up seeking for a social setting.

If there are things that God has done that I despise on a daily basis, I will first state what I hear and see in people's hearsay. Some individuals, particularly marites (The Karen), are continuously looking for ways to alter and spread information. I have a relative who is like this, and every time I hear her talk, I chuckle and am irritated by how skillfully she can tell a different narrative. I was sometimes victimized by these sorts of individuals, and out of frustration, I blocked them on all of my phone contacts, including our Socmed connections.

Another aggravation in modern society is how individuals body shame others. Those who prefer to say unpleasant things about your physique make you feel insecure. Yeah, I have stretchmarks from a previous pregnancy, I have a huge tummy, and I have thick brows, but none of these things diminish my femininity. What is humiliating is when other people stare at you and make faces as if you are the most ugly person in the world. Frankly, I'm becoming more comfortable with my appearance. Every day, I tell myself how beautiful and attractive I am. The only thing that irritates me is seeing individuals who feel like they are the most perfect and seem to have no scars on their body. But sometimes I manage their judgments in such a manner that they get irritated with me because I truly show them that I embrace what I have in my body.

Other individuals who like to meddle in other people's lives also annoy me. Honestly, I have a lot of relatives that are like this. They constantly questioning when I'm going to marry, why I was late for college, why I dress like this, and even when it comes to contraception.

I'm not sure where my citizens' mentality came from, but I'm determined to put a stop to this sort of toxicity in Filipino families. It's a wonderful thing that some members of Generation Z are mature enough to consider and wish to address certain elders' inappropriate actions. And what about the resolution? Make privacy a norm! Let us respect private matters and be mindful of what we say to others, particularly if you didn't contribute any thing on his or her life.

Okay, let's end this blog and I hope that I shared something important to know. Anyways, here's the 148th challenge inititated by galenkp@galenkp so if you are looking for something to write, you may try answering his topics for this week.
