Because of the continuous COVID outbreak, online learning remains the greatest choice for students. Limited face-to-face sessions are now being held in several locations here in the Philippines, including the school where my child is currently enrolled. Unfortunately, because he has not yet had his vaccination, he was not chosen to attend a face-to-face class. If you were to ask me why I haven't yet allowed my child to receive a vaccination, I would have to admit that I'm genuinely worried about the potential adverse effects. However, because the government and the Department of Education are requiring all pupils to have vaccinations and booster doses before going back to school, it appears like I have little choice but to choose the best vaccine for my child.
Without further ado, let me tell you about our visit to his primary school yesterday. While others were waiting for enrollment, his teacher got in touch with me and asked if I could come to school right away to receive his card and return all the pivot modules that the school had provided us last year. His teacher instructed me to visit at precisely 11 o'clock in the morning in order to manage the number of people arriving at school. Since no one would watch my child because our parents had just attended my brother's graduation ceremonies, I made the snap decision to bring the kid to school.
We took pleasure in taking a stroll from our house up to the main road to catch a Jeepney because the weather was so cloudy.
We arrive at his primary school a short while later. Loving one was quite agitated and appeared extremely happy to be able to attend his school without having to show his vaccination card. Note: There were only 2 guards on duty at the time we visited, and his teacher was the only one we approached. My loving one is safe, don't be worried.
He seemed to have previously remembered the place. Little did he know that there were no other teachers on that floor except me and him.
His teacher arrived a little while later and requested us to enter the room. When he sat down at the desk, he was thrilled. While I am speaking with his teacher, I also noticed that he is looking around the entire room. I can honestly tell that he misses going to school.
After a brief conversation with his teacher, we said our goodbyes and proceeded to take some shots outside. He also asked me to give him a clean shot in this painting beside their classroom.
Additionally, he requested that I snap some shots of the tree next to the school's entrance. I initially wondered what he was pointing out at the top. When I lifted the camera and zoomed in, I captured several berries that were hanging there. Here at our home, we referred to it as "Aratilis."
After that, I believed we were on our way home. But we ultimately decided to go on a food tour around Puregold, near the school. He requested if I could get him some nuggets, and I happily discovered a stall that served them.
He also asked for some fishballs and fried siomai!!
And after that, gladly, he himself asked if we can go home because he felt very sleepy.
Anyhow, that concludes our walk yesterday. It was very fun and worth remembering because my child is really growing so fast that he is no longer asking for some cuddles. Hope to find more time with him again.
