Polycub is the same with 50% penalty. There will be a point the 50% fee is not worth taking.
I don't know when the point is.
We are in the first week of polycub with the highest inflation ( token distribution).
Next week is less and the week after it reduce again.
So when comes to the point it's not worth paying the 50% fee?
for now, maybe it's worth paying the fee and stake into xpolycub.
I expect after the first 4 weeks we see something happen.
Not sure how it will turn out, maybe it rushes to zero :P.
But I expect some appreciation of the rarety of polycub.
1000 polycub today are in 4 weeks more polycub. Maybe 2000 or more.
But after 4 weeks 2000 polycub will be 4 weeks later maybe only 2200 polycub ( staking in xpolycub).
With the idea, the token will not go to 0 and the protocol owned liquidy does something, it could be a good play to stake and do nothing.
Also to earn and do nothing. Because it will be much more difficult to earn those tokens in 4 weeks.
I'm not sure how xpolycub will work after inflation goes to 0. So not sure there will be any yield on it.
Some words to polycub
The idea is cool, but it's IMO really bad to not release papers before release. IMO there was no reason to hold it back.
I don't see a benefit to letting people be uneducated about the mechanics.
Another point was the delay, I think that kills a lot of momentum and excitement about polycub.
I would wish for the next leo expansion to clear papers and clear mechanics before the release.
Special because I think future expansions should attract more attention. Finished papers can be shared.
Finish infographics too.
Or hit up someone else for that, but I really think Leofinance would benefit massively with easy-to-understand and shareable info-products.
