Hive’s still missing a proper quote feature and it’s been a long-standing gap.I just want to be able to pull up a post, add my two cents right under it, and have people see exactly what I’m reacting to (the original content could even sit in a dropdown or collapsed view) alongside my take.That alone would make sharing way more useful.
Instead of just dumping a link or restacking something, you can add context or a different angle and actually spark a real conversation around it.
It’s one of those basic social features that platforms like X have had forever. Hive needs it.

Jokes beside, it is also useful for technical discousions or bigger topics like " war in iran" quote it add another layer of information to it and people can quote this and add more. Thats pretty good (social) featue and we need that to have fun.
