Background
Ok, so yes maybe I'm a little OCD at times but I swear of all the 'minor infractions' of mildy frustrating things I've witnessed going on in the kitchen at home this might be the worst for quite some time.
Here's The Offender
These little snack bar size cheddar cheeses come in a multi-pack netted bag from the supermarket, they are very handy for lunches. For some reason my partner feels the need to use scissors to lop the end off the packet, usually wasting a sliver of cheese in whats left behind.
I'm overreacting I hear you say, well yes maybe, but here's the thing, the packets are actually designed to be opened without any need for scissors and no cheese waste'age. There is a little nick in the packaging that can be pulled to tear the wrapping and get at the cheese!?
I could swear I have dropped this tit-bit of information into conversation 20 times by now.. doesn't seem to matter, every time I find one it has been opened the same way with the scissors! 馃
Having thought about it I think it's the leftover cheese that annoys me the most. I was raised in a house as a kid where you do not waste food. Or maybe it's because I'm a cheese fan. Unknown either way..
