There are times I tagged my mouth unwanted in public. Not that I don't know what to say or I don't have idea about things around me. Is it that my mouth is small or too wide? At least, its my mouth will I seal it for life? While I thought profusely about mine, I noticed the are multiple partners around me: they have good set of teeth in fact white as snow, have good body odour but why are their mouths unwanted too?
Self Study has showed me some reasons why many mouth are unwanted in the public and even to their selves.
Unwanted mouth is the mouth you don't want around you. You prefer their gestures instead of their speeches. Have you ever witness the sour smell from your mouth or people around you?
Why this embarrassing odour?
What could be the cause even when I take good care of my mouth?
You are about to learn about HALITOSIS.
LET ME TELL YOU WHAT IT IS:
Halitosis can also be called Fector Oris. Halitosis simply means mouth odour. Often times, it caused unwanted silence, embarrassment and even anxiety. Halitosis is something you shouldn't worry about: the remedy is at your finger tips (read, observe and act).
After tooth decay and gum disease, Halitosis is another reason why people will want to visit a dental clinic. Bad breath is a respecter of no one, anybody can suffer from it. Over the years, Bad breath has been a problem of attention. Unknowingly, many things could cause it but treatments are readily available.
We all need to understand that there are bacterial in our mouth mainly at the back of the tongue. The warmness and the moisture content of the mouth will make the mouth breed bacterial as many as possible. Bad breath don't just happen. It's caused mainly by something introduced to the mouth.
Naturally, bad breath are not serious health issues. A common example I will give is the early mouth odour. You brushed your teeth before going to bed right, don't be surprise that some reactions happens in the mouth while you sleep. While you are still very conscious of your environment, the saliva in your mouth functions to wash odours and decaying food away. While you sleep, your mouth becomes dry: little or no saliva is in the mouth. The dryness of the mouth makes dead cells stain the tongue and the corner of the cheeks. Foul mouth smell happens because the mouth bacterial has acted (feed on)
on the dead cells.
SYMPTOMS OF HALITOSIS
Detecting offensive mouth smell might be difficult since the nose is used to the the smell. People around you can help you detect if you truly have a bad breath. They avoid discussing things with you or covering their nose, you can also see the expression on their faces. Other things that are likely to cause bad breath are: dry mouth, throat infection , teeth cavity etc.
CAUSES OF HALITOSIS
Psychiatric Condition:
The condition where people can't detect people with mouth odour is called pseudohalitosis.
Improper dental care:
Not brushing the tech well will make particles of food at the cranny of the teeth to decay in the mouth which will of cause lead to offensive odour. Continuous poor dental hygiene will therefore leads to gum disease.
Mouth Infection:
The odour here is always very heavy because mouth bacterial already have a home in the the mouth, dead cells get decayed easily with the abundance of bacterial in the mouth. Let's consider tooth cavity.
Other causes:
Smoking cigarettes, eating onions or Garlic, drinking coffee, eating eggs etc will cause bad breath.
TREATING HALITOSIS
The quality system to lessen halitosis is good oral hygiene. This ensures that cavities are avoided and reduces the possibility of gum disorder. It's advocated that individuals visit the dentist for a examine-up and cleaning twice a year.
The dentist may suggest a toothpaste that involves an antibacterial agent or an antibacterial mouthwash. If gum sickness is present, authentic cleansing may be indispensable to clear out the build-up of micro organism in pockets between the gums and tooth.
Having a good mouth odour will make you speak confidently with people around you. Now that we know the cause and how it can be be treated, it's not a choice: it's a must to stop those bacterial living in the mouth
