So, if you're a regular follower of mine, you know I primarily focus on attack power and speed in my Splinterlands strategies, and I select cards based on that. However, last season, I saw the enemy use a new power several times. This power is called Execure. According to this power, if the target has 2 or less health left after a successful attack, the attacker performs another attack on the same target card that same turn. Although this power is only available to cards of the same bloodline as the summoner, it's a great power because even your relatively weak cards can put significant pressure on the enemy.
Above, you can see the Battlefield after the Summoner and Cards have distributed their powers to the teams. So this season, I added a Summoner and some Elf cards to my deck. Elf cards are used because the Summoner is from the elf bloodline, so to use this power, I needed cards from the same bloodline. Now, look at my lineup: I've placed a Tank at the front, which itself is an attacker, followed by all the other elf cards in the lineup, which is why you can see them all equipped with the Execure ability. Additionally, two of these cards, Weaken ability, deal -2 health damage to all the enemy cards, and the Summoner's default power deals -1 magic damage to the enemy team's wizards.
And this is the damage of the second last attack of the first round. Do I need to say more? Believe me, seeing this battle in live action can make a big difference to your strategy, especially if you're seeing this power in action for the first time. This Splinterlands battle is one of the best battles I've ever fought. Without this power, my team wouldn't have won this battle, and there are many reasons for that. And you just saw the result with this power; it took just one round to completely wipe out the enemy.
With this, I conclude today's blog. I hope you enjoyed it and also got to learn something good from it. Thank you for reading this blog. Have a wonderful day!
