As my Glint earnings have increased, I have also ramped up my purchases of card packs. As you know, reaching higher levels requires an increasing number of copies of a card; therefore, it is essential to purchase as many packs as possibleβ€”or acquire cards through other meansβ€”to expand your deck. Once a new card set is launched, the current set may be removed from the reward system, leaving direct purchase as the only way to obtain these cards. This is why I am consistently adding new cards to my deck. Although these cards are "soulbound"β€”meaning they cannot be tradedβ€”I can use them in my gameplay for as long as I like. Furthermore, I have the option to purchase scrolls to "unbind" them. For now, however, I am simply collecting cards; once I have had the chance to use them across various battle conditions, I will choose to unbind only those that I find most effective or enjoyable.

Today, I upgraded two rare cards to level 3. One of theseβ€”a Fire-element melee attack card called 'Grove Doomblade'β€”recently earned a spot among my favorite cards; it is well-known for its massive melee attack power. I wasn't particularly fond of this card at level 1, but at level 2, it gained the 'Fury' ability. This ability doubles its attack power against enemies possessing the 'Taunt' traitβ€”meaning that if it faces a card with 'Taunt,' its 5 melee attack power effectively becomes 10, which is enough to knock out almost any card in a single strike. Ever since it reached level 2, it has been one of my favorites, and now, at level 3, it has gained an additional +1 Health, further strengthening it. I typically use this card in combination with the 'Double Strike' abilityβ€”and occasionally the 'Swiftness' abilityβ€”resulting in an truly impressive performance on the battlefield.

The second rare card is the Earth-element magic attack card, 'Anchor-Hex Adept.' This card joined my list of favorites starting at Level 2, as that is when it gained the 'Divine Shield' abilityβ€”a feature that allows it to ignore one instance of incoming damage. While ignoring a single hit might seem minor, it can have a significant impact on the battlefield; consequently, I began using this card much more frequently from Level 2 onwards, and its performance was consistently praiseworthy. At Level 3, it receives an upgrade of +1 armor, which further strengthens it. Although this armor offers no protection against magic-based attacks, opponents relying on melee or ranged attacks must break through it before they can reach the card's health, making it even more resilient than before. By positioning it somewhere in the middle of your lineup, you can rest easyβ€”at least as far as this card is concerned.

Splinterlands isn't an easy place, but that's what makes it even more fun. A perfect strategy takes into account many factors, including stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and more. That's why it's even more important to consider all these factors when developing a strategy. Add good cards to your deck, but also work on improving your strategies, and strive to win as many battles as possible!πŸ”₯
