" I think I'm tired of this marriage, I want out, Mr. James said to his wife Sam who sat in the living occupied with her phone, oblivious to his words. I can no longer tolerate or stay with someone who doesn't respect me, his voice filled with anger.

Their five year marriage has been difficult and a struggle with him feeling unappreciated and disrespected. Sam barely makes and effort in keeping the home or listening to him and this has been a huge road block on their relationship. Simple things like washing his clothes or showing interest in what he does was no where to be found.
Fed up with everything, Mr. James reported Sam to her family where a family meeting was held to address the issues. Sam's response was blunt. I can't respect a man who doesn't respect me as well. Respect is reciprocal she said.
With her parents trying to talk to her and make her see reasons why she should respect her husband, Sam remained unbother. See all this, Mr James left her at her parents home, keen on prioritizing his self worth.
Months passed,and Sam hadn't reached out to apologize. James remained adamant also despite her family begging him to reconsider. " As a man, all I need and want from my wife is respect. How can I command or control a home where that is not given to me , he said. Staying our separate ways is the best for now.
