Apart from my profession .. I love handy craft work.
I have passion for craft work and this PASSION is what i have turned into ACTION.
I fell in love with Tie and dye during my one year (NYSC)compulsory service to my fathers land.
I was just given a simple basic for creating designs on fabric.. After the class i thought of creating a unique design that will "wow" my tutor so i made some few sketches and came up with many designs.
The picture above is one of the work i did..
It is called the "FIRE CROSS"
I folded the tshirt ,used a thread to tie to fabric to my desired pattern then applied both the yellow and red dye bath ,leave for some minutes at least an hour then rinse.
The essence of using the thread was to create resist between the dye chemical .
My teacher was wow!! When she saw the result.
It was a nice experience .
Guess what??!!
Im running it as business now.
