I was just thinking about how privileged we are to use a tool such as PeakD to publish, create, and communicate on the Hive blockchain. It is so easy, it looks so nice, and it has so many great functions making it easier and more enjoyable to stay active.
I have known this for a long time, but yesterday, I tried to schedule a tweet on Twitter using the normal Twitter application for Android and iOS. I was shocked to discover that the function didn't even exist... and we are speaking about Twitter!
Then I discovered that you can schedule posts on Twitter in your browser, but then it suddenly gets complicated again if you want to cancel your scheduled tweet or if you want to modify it. The option is there, but it isn't at all obvious to find out where you can actually find it. So, I decided to create a little article describing how and where you can edit and delete scheduled tweets on Twitter in your browser window. So, I found a way, but it still feels terrible that it has to be so complicated. And yes, it made me all the more grateful for the fantastic tool we have in PeakD here on Hive.
Of course, you have Hootsuite and Buffer
Of course, you have applications such as Hootsuite and Buffer that will help you schedule posts on Twitter in a much easier way, but being one of the leading social media platforms in the world, I do find it strange that there are no easy way to schedule posts using it. You can, of course, use one of the third-party apps in order to find such functions, but I would definitely expect to find an important function like that in the main application and not just in a third-party application.
