Story time with Jongo...
I was driving back home with my wife tonight and we started talking about our faith. This is nothing unusual, as we talk about heavenly things constantly.
But tonight I told her about 'the day' that was on social media.
If you aren't up to date with the drama du jour, let me share it with you...
Someone decided to put Grok (X's AI thingy) to the test, and wait until you see what Grok spat out....
Safe to say, the interwebs weren't happy.
O.k., a few things before I get into the meat of this post...
First, I am not a fan of any 'image' of Jesus. There's a reason He wasn't described in Scripture because it was His message and Word that mattered. The whole 'white dude in the middle east' look is very much a construct and not what I believe the real person looked like.
But that's not the point.
And let me be crystal clear, whether Grok showed buddha, thor or any image as a response to the question, wouldn't have changed or shook my faith in the slightest.
And I'm not sure anyone from ay other faith if their faith was solid, would be too upset about it...
But now, the reactions!!!!
Oh wow. Let me just state the obvious, and I think anyone can agree...
Once Jesus gets 'promoted' on social media, the dogs come out to bite. It's amazing that this name creates so much division and hatred online, it's almost like....He knew it would:

You don't hear any other holy figure on earth used as a cuss word. His name literally can be exalted by people, or used in a derogatory way. It's madness.
But just look at some of the comments in the thread, it goes from praising the devil, to claiming Christianity is fake and evil, you name it. It's all there.
And of course, my brothers and sisters in Christ didn't really use this to be humble either. Some of them went around boasting...
Like validation from 'AI' is needed for your faith?
What are we even doing here? lol
Last week we had Noah's Ark finally being investigated in Turkey, which seemed to really get the blood boiling. And now this week, AI is claiming Christ is....King? lol
What a time to be alive....
Here's my thinking out loud with everything that happened today:
My faith doesn't need validation by 'Grok'.
Neither would it be moved at all if the response wasn't in favor of my beliefs.
And I still find it remarkable how much Jesus' words ring true in today's day and age. Case in point, His verse above in the book of Matthew.
Can't take this social media stuff too serious folks....It's bad for our mental health .
