Born in a family with no knowledge about ADHD, it really was frustrating to hear the word ‘naughty’ every single minute of the day. The staple diet of my paternal family was Bollywood films and there was not a single day on which we didn’t sleep without watching a movie. The action scenes really made my parents panic as they thought that even a glimpse of it would make me make overactive.
It was around my 3rd birthday that my nani (maternal grandma) went to learn about ADHD thanks TO Google swami. She then told my mother about it and this brought doomsday upon her. She thought it was some sort of autism and was incurable. Anyhow, she researched a lot about it and came up with a conclusion that my life would never be quiet and normal.
