The days here in Spearfish are winding down as we're starting to pack up the rv to head back to Arizona but still a few weeks left to enjoy the empty and quiet campground and put in the good miles.
Another strong run up the hillside with another couple of miles climbing a long but steady section of back roads before I could enjoy the speedy descent back down to the trails for a few mellow loops - my legs felt good and I'm getting better.
Palmer Lake will be an interesting ultra test but I'm not expecting amazing mileage but the USATF 24 hour championship will be down in AZ at the end of November and I'd like to do will in the 60+ age group.
Finished up with a hike with Lulu to Spearfish Falls. Relaxing time in the beautiful canyon as always.
