Hello, dear Hudsuckers!Today is Hudsucker 21 and we'll be diving into more CSS Grid work for the day.
I'll be using a mix of websites and Youtube tutorials for the bulk of my learning, during today's stream.
My current goal is to layout a website to my liking, using the CSS Grid. In later blogs, I will take the website and make it responsive, add hovers, etc, but for now I need a good layout. I don't have much experience with CSS or the Grid, so these lessons have been very challenging, but -- I guess you could say that's also what makes them feel so rewarding. The websites I've made thus far may not be masterpieces, but their my not masterpieces.

If this is your first time catching one of these Hudsucker blogs, I should mention that I don't often speak during these sessions, however, I will periodically check the chat and respond to viewers. The bulk of the stream is spent listening to tutorials, music, gary vee, and staring at a screen trying to figure out code.
I'm using the Hero's of The Storm website as a guide to layout my website...just because I like there's. I want to be able to place divs and container in the appropriate places to make my site have as similar as possible to the layout of this Hero's of The Storm website.
Recently I've been digging into a lot of CSS and Bootstrap in an attempt to truly understand how to layout a website. It's been daunting, but not without it's fruits of labor. Here's to continuing that trend! Let's get coding!
