At the moment, trading in metals is one of the safest and most attractive opportunities across all financial markets. If I specifically talk about silver, it also offers a reasonable level of volatility, making it an appealing asset for traders and investors.
It is often referred to as the “king of industrial precious metals” after gold and next safer asset after Gold..
One of the biggest advantages of silver is that it has strong real world use cases. It is widely used in solar technology, electronics manufacturing and the jewelry industry. As global demand for these sectors continues to grow, the demand for silver is also increasing.
For this reason I decided to focus on silver as a long term trading and investment opportunity. Around two weeks ago I purchased a 1 kg silver bar and later sold it after making a good profit.
Interestingly as soon as I sold it, the price started declining and it is now trading near its three month low. I believe this creates an excellent opportunity to take advantage of the lower prices.
However, rather than investing directly I prefer using Binance’s Futures Grid Trading strategy. In Futures Grid Trading you select the number of grids and define a trading range..
For example, setting the lower limit around the 50$ and the upper limit around the 70$. You can choose anywhere from 50 to 1000 grids and allocate whatever investment amount you wish. Every time the price moves between these grid levels and executes trades, you earn profits from each completed grid transaction.
In other words it can be a win win strategy as long as the price remains within the predefined range. Once the market moves outside that range, the grid stops generating trades.
My plan is to trade with a total capital of 5,000 USDT. I intend to divide it into five layers, allocating 1,000 USDT to each Futures Grid strategy with 1x leverage.
Based on my setup each completed grid trade generates approximately $0.03 in profit. As long as the price stays within the selected range these small profits continue to accumulate through repeated executions.
When the price eventually breaks out of that range, the active grid will stop and I will enable the next grid configured for a different range. By managing silver trading in five separate layers I aim to exit with a solid overall profit.
Since silver is a metal with relatively controlled price movements and does not typically experience extreme market cycles I consider it a potentially profitable asset for this type of strategy.
