This weekend I had good 'beach karma'. Beach Karma is a term my partner likes to use when we plan a day at the beach and it's raining when we leave the house, but when we arrive -- the sun is out!

The hike itself is on the Dungeness Spit in the state of Washington. It took a ferry and an hour or-so of driving to reach this lovely stretch of land that extends 6 miles out into ocean.
