I heard the above words in the holiest of holy places. It was an eye opener for me. It can simply be understood as this; Age doesn't mean maturity. I did a little research on google and discovered it is was an african proverb, Interesting.
Maturity can start from any age. A grey hair doesn't mean that someone is wise and mature. A person could be age 40 and still be foolish.
