The arcane called love, can make one ask so many questions.
It can make one smile within his or her space.
It can also make one weep bitterly as though if given chance, they'll pass on.
So how can one actually define love?
Is it checking frequently on people that care less about you or feel you don't exist?
Is it forgiving people that intentionally hurt you?
Or is it endurance?
I'm yet to find answers in real life.
But see how the bible describes love;
Love is patient, Love is kind, It doesn't envy, It doesn't boast, it is not proud, it is not rude, it is not self seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrong. 1 Corinthians 13 : 4 to 5.
Here's an adage to think of.
One cannot be in love and be wise.
Not being wise in the adage does not mean you're lacking wisdom or foolish, but the ability to let go.
So, I strongly agree to the above saying.
Except, the love story is based on lies. Yes! That's when you can be wise while in love; because your motives aren't real.
No one deeply in love can be wise, because there are a whole lot you need to look away from, a whole lot you have to admit and move on with.
A whole lot you have to pretend it didn't happen and smile away... And you find out that by the time you do all these, people feel you're foolish and begin to ask questions like, who in his or her right senses will do these aside being overwhelmed with love. Or aside being controlled by love? That's where the adage cited above comes in. And it agrees with what the bible says in the portion cited above.
Love is indeed powerful. It can make you do things you wouldn't do in your real senses.
Please tell me, what is Love to you?
